In 2016, the OSCE Mission supported the Public Policy Research Centre, civil society organization to conduct a research on how the security sector reform affects human security in Serbia and to reassess the impact of security sector reform on LGBT people. The purpose of the research was to establish whether there have been changes in the policies of security sector institutions concerning the LGBT community as a vulnerable group.

The handbook highlights the complex implications of statelessness for individuals, states and societies, with good practices and recommendations aiming to increase engagement and progress in addressing this phenomenon by OSCE participating States. The book was jointly developed by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities (HCNM) and UNHCR.

This safety guide provides handy information for journalists and other media professionals on know-hows to protect themselves in volatile situations, riots, protests and demonstrations to help them avoid injuries and damage to their equipment. The guide advises media professionals to use protective gear and visible insignia so that they distinguish from protesters and avoid getting hurt by the police or protesters. Advice includes improvisations that help media professionals neutralize effects of teargas when reporting during violent situations. It also provides the media professionals with available telephone numbers to seek legal advice.

Established in 2000 by the OSCE Permanent Council, the Office of Internal Oversight (OIO) provides a broad range of oversight services ranging from internal audit to evaluation and investigation. The Office’s work is conducted in accordance with the Internal Oversight Mandate and the OSCE Financial Regulations and covers all OSCE activities, regardless of the source of funding.

The poster of the campaign to promote the human rights package of laws in Kosovo aims to inform the general public about their rights and novelties brought by the package which includes the Law on Gender Equality, Law on Protection from Discrimination, Law on the Ombudsperson and the available resources to exercise those rights. Emphasis is added on the role and responsibilities of the Ombudsperson in implementing this legislation.
