The aim of these model guidelines is to provide a practical tool to assist OSCE participating States and Partners for Co-operation in implementing concrete measures to prevent trafficking in human beings in supply chains. The publication highlights how States can implement legislation and policies that promote transparency to ensure that public supply chains are free from trafficked labour; and promote the fair and ethical recruitment of workers.

The OSCE Mission in Kosovo provides capacity-building for the Kosovo Police and community safety forums, along with monitoring and advocacy for the implementation of the Community Safety Strategy and Action Plan. To raise awareness about community safety forums, the Mission has prepared the new edition of a community safety brochure as a development tool. The new brochure comes with a new and illustrated content, stories on best practices and community project initiatives taken between 2013 and 2017, updated contact information, stats and motivating words from community safety stakeholders from all police regions. It aims to strengthen the police-public partnership in municipalities and raise awareness on community safety forums and community policing concept Kosovo-wide

The Manual on Suppression of Economic Crimes and Corruption includes an analysis of all criminal statutes that fall within the area of economic crimes and corruption. The Manual is intended for Serbian criminal law practitioners and other experts interested in these topics. The OSCE Mission to Serbia and the US Department of Justice jointly supported printing of the publication, not available in English.

This is the 10th Report produced by the OSCE Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings (SR/CTHB) according to the requirements of OSCE Ministerial Council Decision No. 13/05 on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings. This report provides a summary of the wide range of activities carried out by the Office from 1 January, 2016 to 1 November, 2017, with additional sections that focus on the work of the OSCE’s executive structures and field operations.

The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) has continuously worked on countering hate crime by strengthening the role of criminal justice systems in addressing this phenomenon.
