The report assesses the extent to which core legislation protecting basic human rights, such as gender equality, anti-discrimination, rights of communities, language rights and protection against domestic violence, are implemented by Kosovo institutions.

The Death Penalty in the OSCE Area: Background Paper 2012 is intended to provide a concise update to highlight changes in the status of the death penalty in OSCE participating States and to promote constructive discussion of this issue. It covers the period from 1 July 2011 to 30 June 2012.

This publication provides guidelines on improving data collection in an effort to combat money laundering and the financing of terrorism. It is also intended to inspire further dialogue and co-operation among national authorities and other stakeholders, to stimulate an exchange of experiences and good practices among states in the OSCE region, and to raise awareness of the importance of comprehensive data collection for informed decision-making.

The purpose of the Manual is to assist Aarhus Centre staff and Aarhus stakeholders to effectively integrate a gender perspective into their work. The Manual suggests concrete and practical entry points for integrating a gender perspective into activities related to all three pillars of the Aarhus Convention (access to information, public participation and access to justice), as well as in support of OSCE gender equality principles. These guidelines can be used to effectively promote gender equality in the environmental sector, assisting stakeholders to realize national and international commitments on gender equality and strengthen good governance overall. The OSCE Mission to Serbia supported translation of this Manual into Serbian and its printing.

The Legal Digest of International Fair Trial Rights aims at building the capacity of legal practitioners to conduct professional trial monitoring by providing them with a comprehensive description of fair trial rights coupled with practical checklists based on the experience of OSCE trial monitoring operations.

This manual is intended primarily for practitioners involved in trial monitoring. It will, however, be of interest to anyone seeking information on trial monitoring and should also be useful to anyone involved in reforming the justice system.
