The new edition of the Safety of journalists Guidebook chronicles events undertaken by international organizations, governments and nongovernmental organizations to create a safer environment for members of the media since the original Guidebook was published in 2011. It is available in English and in Russian.

This Manual introduces members and staff of the Assembly of Kosovo committees to the new practice of conducting budget oversight. It provides guidance on how to prepare and conduct a committee oversight exercise on budget expenditure of line ministries. Following this introduction, chapter 2 introduces the budget cycle in Kosovo and describes the role of the AoK in this process. It proceeds to explain the rationale for functional committees engaging in budget oversight. Chapter 3 provides practical advice and step-by-step guidance through a budget oversight exercise. The manual was developed based on the successful budget oversight exercise by the Committee on Internal Affairs and Security of the Ministry of Interior and the Kosovo Police.

This report assesses whether the relevant international human rights standards regarding the protection of immovable tangible cultural heritage are complied with by the Kosovo legal framework and to what extent the central- and local-level institutions apply these standards and thus respect, protect and fulfil everyone’s right to access and benefit from cultural heritage.

The OSCE Mission to Montenegro, the US Embassy and the Judiciary Training Centre, in co-operation with police, prosecution and judiciary experts have developed this guide for public prosecutors, judges and criminal police officers. The guide presents the basics of international and national criminal law framework, accompanied by concrete examples. Its purpose is to serve as a tool in the work of the police, public prosecutors and courts when processing the cybercrime cases.

The BiH War Crime Case Map is an interactive tool developed by the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina aimed at enhancing transparency and public trust in the processing of war crimes. The Mission monitors and reports on war crimes proceedings to provide an objective and accurate assessment of the ability of the judicial system to deal with war crimes in an effective, human rights compliant and expeditious manner.
