The manual for training of civil society activists who wish to strengthen the work of environmental protection agencies was developed by the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine on request from the Sate Environmental Inspectorate. Available in Ukrainian language. 

n line with its mandate, the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina (the Mission) supports Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in developing a reliable disaster preparedness and management system in accord with its OSCE commitments and the Framework Law on Protection and Rescue of People and Property from Natural and Other Disasters. The Mission assists authorities, civil society and other stakeholders to increase resilience to natural and other hazards and to reduce the susceptibility of people and property to disaster risk. With its comprehensive approach to security, the Mission is in a unique position to advance co-operation and co-ordination among all relevant ministries and agencies on emergency/crisis management and recovery. These efforts complement implementation of the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2015-2030 Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction.

This report describes the current state of ecosystems and biodiversity in the lower Chu river (Kazakhstan), providing data on climate, flora and vegetation, hydrology, ichthyofauna, and fauna of terrestrial vertebrates, including birds. The report also analyses changes in ecosystems over the past 30 years, reveals their serious degradation, assesses needs and prospects for restoration of valuable biocenoses and improvement of living conditions of the local population.

The publication: "Exercising the right to access environmental information" was developed in cooperation with the office of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection with the support from the OSCE Mission in Serbia in order to inform the interested public about the importance and meaning of information relevant to the environment as well as about ways to provide accurate, timely and make reliable "green information" more accessible.
