CHISINAU, 25 November 2019- On the occasion of the annual 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence campaign, the OSCE will launch the campaign "End the Silence" in the Republic of Moldova and across South-Eastern and Eastern Europe. Its aim is to raise awareness about gender-based violence, in particular the issue of violence against women and girls. Gender-based violence concerns all of society, and governments have a responsibility to prevent and combat it.

Promotion of social economy in Armenia focus of OSCE event in Yerevan

As part of the celebrations to mark the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the International Labour Organization, the Office of the Co-ordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities and the Republican Union of Employers of Armenia (RUEA) co-organized the event “Leaving no one behind: Promoting social economy for an inclusive and prosperous Armenia” on 30 October 2019 in Yerevan. Discussions at the event focused on promoting financial stability and social cohesion through more effective eco-systems for social enterprises.
OSCE supports promotion of women’s political participation in local councils in Kyrgyzstan
