Reinforcing counter-terrorism co-operation discussed in Ad Hoc Committee’s meetings at OSCE and UNODC

VIENNA, 14 November 2017 – Developing effective co-operation to address the threat of terrorism has been the focus of a two-day visit to Vienna by members of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly’s Ad Hoc Committee on Countering Terrorism. Committee members met with officials from the United Nations and the OSCE’s executive structures to learn about their efforts and promote a stronger parliamentary perspective in counter-terrorism work.

Preventing and countering violent extremism in focus of multi-stakeholder meetings organized by OSCE throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina

SARAJEVO, 27 October 2017 – The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina is organizing a series of multi stakeholder meetings on local level responses to preventing and countering violent extremism that will gather representatives of municipalities, civil society organizations, educational institutions, social welfare centres, mental health centres, police, religious communities and correctional facilities.
