ERGNETI, 13 July 2021 — The 101st meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) convened today in Ergneti, co-facilitated by the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

PRISTINA, 8 July 2021 — OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs Ann Linde concluded her visit to Kosovo together with the Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and Deputy Executive Director of UN Women, Åsa Regnér, today. The programme included meetings with the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Kosovo authorities and civil society. Linde encouraged authorities to focus further on gender equality and women’s and girl’s enjoyment of human rights, in particular the implementation of the Women, Peace and Security agenda. GENEVA, 30 June 2021- The 53rd round of the Geneva International Discussions (GID) took place on 29 and 30 June 2021, with requisite COVID-19 pandemic measures in place.

Two three-day train-the-trainers (ToTs) seminars on information technologies, conflict mediation, and the basics of psychological support for victims of gender-based violence (GBV) took place in Osh city from 17 to 19 June, and in Tokmok, Chui province from 23 to 25 June 2021. Forty-five members of Women Initiative Groups (WIGs) from across Kyrgyzstan participated in the seminar.
