Despite the challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Governing Board of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), under Montenegro’s presidency, delivered their programme for youth in the region in 2021. As it prepares for 2022, RYCO will continue to build up its effectiveness and visibility to provide more opportunities for youth.

This was the conclusion of the sixth annual regional meeting of forensic centres, held in hybrid format, in Podgorica on 9 and 10 December 2021.

To build the capacity of inter-ministerial actors responsible for implementing gender mainstreaming across ministries, the OSCE Mission to Montenegro organized a basic training course on mainstreaming gender into policies at the central level, from 6 to 8 December 2021 in Podgorica.
OSCE Mission to Montenegro video calls to stop violence and urges people to react, as part of the “16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence” campaign

The OSCE Mission to Montenegro joins the global “16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence” with a public campaign calling for an end to gender-based violence that includes a TV spot and social media campaign. The 16 days of Activism campaign started on 25 November, on the International Day against Violence against Women, and runs through to International Human Rights Day on 10 December.
